FAQs

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are some of the questions frequently asked by our customers when renting a bike box. If you have any other questions, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

Where do you deliver to?

We offer home delivery to a selection of London and Greater London post codes around Kingston-Upon-Thames. You can check if we can hand deliver to you by visiting the basket and using the shipping calculator. If we are unable to deliver to you, collection is available from our HQ in Kingston-Upon-Thames. Delivery and collection is available outside of our office hours from a location in Teddington. If you require collection or drop off from our Teddington location then please email or call us before booking a bike box.

Does it fit in my car?

Unfortunately we cannot provide information on every make of car. However, we have had experience squeezing them into very small cars such as a Mini Cooper – we advise to have a quick check with a measuring tape (bike box dimensions – height 92cm, length 113cm, width 32cm). If you’re still unsure please contact us and we will do our best to guide you on the most appropriate options.

Flight allowances for common airlines

Please make sure that you have checked with your airline at least a week in advance to make sure that they have not changed any of their oversized baggage allowances. We have compiled a list of common airlines from London airports with their weight restrictions. See list here. *** Please note these are valid as of 30 September 2014 and may be subject to change.

Mountain Bikes with 29 inch wheels

For the moment we do not offer a bike box rental service for Mountain bikes with 29 inch wheels. However, we are currently looking into solutions to serve this market.
